Bruce is passionate about making bicycling and walking fun and safe in Oakland. Bruce has been a core member of Oakland Urban Paths (OUP), a sister organization of WOBO that promotes the use and maintenance of Oakland’s stairways and paths. As a WOBO board member, Bruce ensures a mutually beneficial relationship between OUP and WOBO that seeks greater promotion of walking in Oakland. Before becoming a stay at home dad, Bruce was a transportation planner that worked on bicycle, pedestrian and Safe Routes to School projects for communities around the Bay Area, California and beyond.
