WOBO is pleased to provide fiscal sponsorship for the East Oakland Futures Festival, a block party with an Afrofuturistic theme showcasing the best in East Oakland’s food, arts, tech, and culture.
The East Oakland Futures Festival is an annual event first held in 2022. With dozens of vendors and community-based organizations offering services on site, this festival will be fun and dynamic for attendees of all ages. EOFF 2023’s first lead-in event was a pop-up at the grand opening for Jazzy Grounds Coffee Bar on February 11 at International and 82nd. Another event is scheduled for April at Bookers on Olive and 90th Avenues to start connecting neighbors to opportunities to imagine a 90th Avenue they want to see and to thrive in.
